The Yorkshire Youth Canoe Polo League will launch in the New Year, with the aim of giving young paddlers an opportunity to try canoe polo. You don't need to have played before; you just need to be able to use a spray deck, paddle in a straight line, turn and catch a ball (although some players in the region find this optional!).
This is a chance simply to have fun and do some more paddling. The games can be no pushing and will be suitable for anyone under 16 (Year 11). The dates are 29th January, 26th February and 18th March so there is time to practice and get a team together for then. All the dates will be run as separate tournaments and will take place at Minsthorpe pool.
