Well just got back after a day at Capesthorne Hall. Was a great show of American vehicles with a great amount of support from the North West. One of our members Neil Reynolds gained a second prize for his 1966 black Ford Mustang, I personally believed it deserved a first place but well done matey the car looks fabulous.

In the last mag I mentioned about the new business venture Neil and I have started, Well it has gone through the roof. We are really busy but thoroughly enjoying it. It is because we are so busy that I am now in a position where I am handing the title of Chairman over to Graeme Swindley. He is going to be supported by Tom Gore who will now be Acting Vice-Chairman. Tom is already on the committee and is a very active member of the club. You can be assured that the club is in safe hands.

I am still going to be helping the guys out where I can and of course I am organising Oswestry which is coming on in leaps and bounds.

On fathers day we are holding a one day event at the Cobblers in Rawtenstall. We will be having a good show of American cars, tombola’s and raffles. There will be face painting and activities for the Kids. So if you fancy a family friendly fun day out come along and join us on the 15th June from 12.00.

On the first Sunday of the month is the Krispy Kreme meet which takes place opposite the Asda at Trafford Park. Come along and enjoy a great day out with great people. 11.o’clock onwards.

Woodvale & Southport If you require tickets please let us know as soon as possible as we are sending off for them. There will be NO spare tickets this year. You can either call us on 01204 594531 or email Neil This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it and we will put your name down. The ticket prices are £2.50 for Southport and 4.50 for Woodvale. This is for the vehicle for the whole weekend.

As this is my last chatter I would like to say thanks to everyone for making my job that much easier. I might not be in the driving seat but I am not disappearing so do come and say hello, I don’t bite OK I might if you ask nicely.

Here’s to the show season, May the sun shine brightly and the beers flow freely. Sam
