Your Regional Development Team is made up of individuals passionate about paddlesport and making positive changes within the Yorkshire & Humberside region. The work of the RDT covers a number of areas:

• Improving performance - recreational and competitive
• Improving the image of paddlesport
• Improving access to funding

Facilities

Over the last five years, focus has been very much on improving facilities for the region. Click here for more information about the sites being developed for our paddlers.

Participation

A recent RYA survey has shown that canoeing has had the highest year on year increase in participation of any boating activity.  This has increased 0.6 percentage points to 2.57% of the population participating in paddlesport.  A copy of the full report can be downloaded here.
