Thank you for your interest in our facilities at Ripon!

The Yorkshire Regional Development Team has taken the bold step of purchasing a piece of land on the banks of the river Ure at Ripon.

We are pleased to confirm that this purchase has now been completed and would like to thank everyone who has supported the purchase both morally and financially.

Next Steps

We need to carry out some repairs to one of the boundary walls.

We will also be replacing the lock on the gate - probably with a combination lock to facilitate access. Details will be provided to users in due course.

We are also seeking a local 'caretaker' for the land - someone who lives in or close to Ripon and can keep an eye on the site, arrange to meet visitors from time to time, and report any issues to the RDT.
