The purchase of the land, legal fees and initial maintenance of the site will cost £20,000 and we are seeking donations from individuals and clubs to raise this money.

Donations can be made in two ways:

• Clubs and non taxpayers should make cheques payable to ‘British Canoe Union of Yorkshire & Humberside’.
• Individuals who pay tax are encouraged instead to make cheques payable to ‘Canoe Foundation’ and complete a Gift Aid declaration. This will help us because for every pound you give, we get an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation to go further.
