The concept of coach update is to provide opportunities for personal development and encouraging all coaches to keep up to date with developments in our sport and indeed in general Sports coaching. This event does just that, it provides the necessary personal development to re-validated your coaching status while providing a way for existing Level 2 coach to start the process of transferring to the new UKCC scheme.
Workshops include; Fundamentals of paddlesport, Caoching Young People, Open Boat Rescues and Sailing Skills.

Dick Constable, our chairman and Keith Saunders, vice chairman, have finished a 4 year stint and are not standing for re-election. Keith is going to continue as acting Secretary for Manvers and Dick will support the RDT for the next year. We also have a vacancy for an independent rep. to give input without any ties to a specific position. The rest of the committee are willing to stand, but we do need a new Chairman & Vice Chairman.
